Apple Milk Shake


Apple Milk Shake

Refreshing and healthy drink. Make your milk interesting by adding apples to it! I had read that the most promising quality of an unpeeled apple is to fight cancer. So it’s not just an antioxidant, a digestive fruit, but a lot more!!





Ingredients
§  Milk         – 1 glass
§  Apple       – 1
§  Ice cubes
§  Sugar       – 2 tsp (alternatively you can use 3 tsp of Honey* )


Method
1.    Peel and cut apple into small pieces.
2.    Blend milk, apple and sugar in a mixer. Take only half the amount of milk.
3.    Now add the remaining milk, chilled water (if you need to have a thinner consistency) and blend it again.
4.    Pour it into the glasses, with ice cubes.


Serving
Serve Chilled.

Tip
  Honey can be used instead of sugar for a healthier drink J

Banana Lassi



  
Refreshing and healthy drink for the crouching heat of summer.




Ingredients
§  Curd        – 1 glass (thick curd)
§  Banana     – 1
§  Water      – ½ glass (Chilled)
§  Salt         – pinch of it
§  Ice cubes
§  Sugar       – 3 tsp (alternatively you can use 3 tsp of Honey* )


Method
1.    Peel and cut banana into small pieces.
2.    Blend curd, banana and sugar in a mixer.
3.    Now add the chilled water, salt and blend it again. You can increase/decrease the amount of water based on the consistency you would like to have for your drink.
4.    Pour it into the glasses, with ice cubes.
5.    For extra taste you can add small banana pieces on the top.
6.    Enjoy and beat the summer heat ! J


Serving
Serve the drink chilled topped with thin banana slices.


Tip
  Honey can be used instead of sugar for a healthier drink.
